Introducing Team Performance Fitness

Peter Aldridge: Pan-American Games medalist and 3 time Olympian for Team Jamaica, Peter is the favorite to win any race he enters. He has almost countless career wins. In 2009 he has many, many wins in the 45+ class in both the Rosewood and Florida Points Series. He is almost always marked by other teams but still overwhelms them in both breakaways and sprints. Peter races in the Pro 1/2/3 and the 45+. He is our team captain.

Chris Wright: The 2008 dominant force of the Cat 4, Chris is quickly climbing the ranks in the Pro 1/2/3 and the 35+. Chris is a fierce sprinter that is known for weaving through peloton traffic at high speed. He is a threat to take most races and almost always finishes with the lead pack. He is expected to dominate both the Pro 1/2/3 and the 35+ in the very near future.

Miguel Luis: The 2008 CAT 3 Florida Cup Champion, Miguel is also quickly climbing the ranks in the Pro 1/2/3. Miguel is a strong sprinter that is known for cracking frames with his sheer leg strength. He is a former lead-out sprinter for Grant Potter and has now graduated to sprinting for his own wins.

Jose Genao: A recent addition to the team, Jose won his very first race in a Performance Fitness uniform. He adds another breakaway threat dimension to the 45+ squad that has made it difficult for other teams to consistently mark Peter Aldridge. Jose is also a threat to win every race he enters.

David Julien: A former junior road race and track champion, David is a young talent that is a rising star. He is currently racing in the Pro 1/2/3 for road racing and the Base 3 for mountain bike racing.

Ledy Alonso: A former national level rider in Cuba, Ledy has unleashed a dominance in the Cat 5 that led to a rapid promotion to Cat 4. His dominance continues and another promotion to Cat 3 is imminent. He is a top finisher in virtually every race and currently holds both the white and yellow jersey in the South Florida Rosewood series. He is now racing 2 races a day, in the Cat 4/5 and the 35+. Ledy has shown that he can win by both breakaway and sprint.

Kenny McCormick: A former professional rock climber, Kenny is a fierce competitor that has brought his competitive intensity to cycling. He is the Cat 4/5 squad leader and is a top finisher in almost all of the races he enters. His power-to-weight ratio matches that of a pro-tour rider and a Cat 3 promotion is also expected within the year.

Raphael Lee: A talented rider from Costa Rica, Raphael had a breakout season in 2008/2009 and dominated the Base 3 mountain bike in both the Florida State Championship and South Florida Coconut Cup Series. He was constantly marked by other teams due to his incredible breakaway threat. He has been promoted to Base 2 and is expected to continue his dominance there.
